Birds are truly a delightful part of our natural surroundings. Whether it is the splash of color they provide in a verdant forest canopy or the cheery songs they tweet to break the mood of woodland silence, birds make me smile. I chose four of these feathered friends to bring this reality to life and represent it across the four seasons. As part of the series, Cardinals, Hummingbirds, Tuft titmice and Chickadees were all placed in surroundings befitting their merry existence at different time of year.
