Sunsets are among my favorite subjects to paint. The vibrant array of colors fills me with excitement. I can utilize bold oranges, yellows, purples, and reds. Over the years, I have painted countless sunsets, but this one stands apart as it was a plein air painting. I don't often engage in plein air studies, but occasionally, I embrace the challenge. This particular painting was exceptionally demanding, as the sun descended much faster than I could capture on the canvas.
